The tentative competition schedule for the 2027 Immigration Law Competition is below. Registered teams will receive proper and adequate notice of any necessary changes. Please email mootcourt@nyu.edu with any questions. The 2027 Immigration Law Competition’s timeline is subject to change from the proposed timeline below.

| January 4, 2027 (or 14 days after Record release) | Deadline for teams to submit clarifying questions |
| January 8, 2027 | Answers to clarifying questions sent to all competitors |
| January 25, 2027 | Competitor briefs due at 5:00 PM EST |
| January 29, 2027 | Competitors receive all competitors’ briefs |
| February 5, 2027 – February 7, 2027 | Competition Weekend – Preliminary Rounds: Friday, February 5th – Octofinal, Quarterfinal and Semifinal Rounds: Saturday, February 6th – Final Argument: Sunday, February 7th |
